Just remember that the freshwater baits were not assembled with the corrosive influences of salt water in mind. My go-to lure for the big 3 is the good ol' Blakemore Road Runner, the two.0 pro heads with the little diamond blade and allurement neckband. I always get heads and rig them with Zoom twin tail grubs, which deadening the fall, add activity, and airplane out the bait to make information technology run true. I accept dang near a tackle store at my disposal, and I've hauled a big chunk of it all over the continent catching fish. Largemouth in Texas, reds/flatties/trout on the declension, smallmouth in Maine and Canada....the Road Runner keeps coming out on top. It'south the one lure I ALWAYS accept tied on one of my rods. Otherwise, I fish a Super Fluke almost of the time. It'south funny to take all that gear only really could go by fine with a pocketful of stuff. I wouldn't, myself, never join a religion that restricted my diet; encounter, I don't want to get into sky that fashion. -William Fontaine de la Tour D'Haute Rive | Re: using freshwater lures on saltwater fish [Re: pafree] #8878345 04/29/xiii 07:17 PM | Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 36 quackaholic1 Outdoorsman | Outdoorsman Joined: April 2011 Posts: 36 | Caught many a salt water fish on rattle traps and spoons | Re: using freshwater lures on saltwater fish [Re: pafree] #8878395 04/29/xiii 07:29 PM | Joined: February 2012 Posts: ane,395 banderapass1 Extreme Angler | Extreme Angler Joined: Feb 2012 Posts: i,395 | we catch many reds, flounder and specks with imperial- red tail bass fishing worms in the flats.. your curly tails will work! we have caught flounder and specks with some just like the ones you are using..
